<p>The Scrum Master will direct the daily activities of multiple delivery teams that support, enhance, and develop enterprise systems for a federal government customer. Daily responsibilities include the following:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Organizes and facilitates project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.</li>
	<li>Guide scrum teams for enterprise software development projects based on Microsoft Azure utilizing Azure DevOps tools and framework</li>
	<li>Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress.</li>
	<li>Ensures that the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.</li>
	<li>Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.</li>
	<li>Assists the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.</li>
	<li>Participates proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.</li>
	<li>Identifies and removes impediments and prevents distractions.</li>
	<li>Facilitates discussion and conflict resolution.</li>
	<li>Empowers the team to self-organize.</li>
	<li>Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.</li>
	<li>Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.</li>
</ul>

<p>The projected compensation range for this position is $120K to $145K (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual&#39;s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.</p>

Required Skills

<ul>
<li>Holds active Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance or similar accredited organization</li>
<li>Holds active SAFe certification</li>
<li>At least 6 years of IT experience on systems development projects, preferably with experience in development roles</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role</li>
<li>Experience leading multiple, parallel Scrum teams</li>
<li>Experience guiding customers in adoption of Agile and DevOps principles</li>
<li>Experience coaching scrum teams on Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) terminology, storyboards, and reporting</li>
<li>Experience migrating agile teams to Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)</li>
<li>Experience implementing requirements and CI/CD tasks</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience using Agile work management tools to manage the Agile process</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
</ul>

Desirable Skills

<ul>
<li>Prior experience in implementing Agile / Scrum development practices in the Federal Government.</li>
<li>Prior experience in web development roles, especially .NET development experience.</li>
<li>Prior experience providing Agile process support for Operations-focused teams using Kanban</li>
<li>Prior experience maintaining and presenting status reports like agile key performance metrics to stakeholders</li>
<li>Federal Government Public Trust clearance</li>
<li>US Citizenship preferred</li>
</ul>
